RAINWATER HARVESTING TANKS

TUFFA RWHC/O is available in a range of capacities starting from 1350 litres up to 100,000 litres.

Rainwater is captured from the roof and bought back to a central point, via normal guttering and down-pipes, to enter a storage tank, where it is filtered on entry. A highly efficient and reliable submersible pump can then deliver the water to a service on demand.

Rainwater harvesting systems are increasingly being incorporated in multiple occupancy commercial and public sector developments such as office buildings, factories, churches and school or hospital extensions.

Use of rainwater harvesting systems is not only good for the environment, but additionally makes excellent financial sense. Such buildings frequently have large roof areas which of themselves present storm water management issues; collecting this roof water for re-use helps to alleviate this problem.
