We have had Tuffa tank, VBFP30 1400 litre capacity, installed on 25/09/2020 byA1 Tank Services.This type of tank,... bunded and fire resistant was the only type which could be installed in the same position as the previous tank as we did not wish to have to move a large shed, nor to intrude onto our established garden.The process was very smooth, carried out by a very professional team.The tank looks good in its place.read more

Great... product, looks good, tidy, blends into the background so very happy - well worth the extra expense. Setting up the sonic contents sensor was also straight forward. We have recently taken delivery of a fire rated steel tank from Tuffs for as part of central heating upgrade work at a... local Church.The tank was delivered within the timescale quoted at order, which was pleasing in the current situation, as many suppliers have fallen short in this respect. It is our first steel fire rated tank, and we are very happy with the finished product. My new tank had to be fireproofed to suit its new position and also blend in as much as possible with my small, but... nice, rear courtyard. I managed to tick all boxes with the Tuffa 1100 SBFP30. It arrived without a mark on it and was quickly and easily installed. The build construction and paint coating are of good quality and the design is as easy on the eye as an oil tank can be.Tuffa provided an excellent service during the order period by improving their delivery to fit in with my planned extension plans timetable. The lady I spoke to on a couple of occasions couldn't have been more helpful, as was the production team in improving and sticking to the improved delivery.Not every company would make such and effort on a customer's behalf and deliver on it! Our heating oil tank started leaking after 18 years of use. The engineer who came to pump the oil in to a holding tank... informed me that if the new tank was going in the same situation it would have to be fire rated as it is close to a building.I searched on line and came across Tuffa tanks I contacted the company, the sales team were very helpful and recommended model 1350 SLB-FP30 which they said they could deliver in a couple of weeks.It actually took about 3 weeks but looks a very sturdy quality tank and now it has been fitted it looks great and we are very pleased with it.read more

Our customer requested we order a 60 minute fire proof tank for his new heating installation. The purchase of the tank... went smoothly, however after that it was not so easy. The delivery date was weeks ahead, with no exact date provided until we called to chase it. We weren't given a choice of dates, however, we requested a date in which our engineers could be in attendance at the customers property to accept delivery. However, Tuffa communicated directly with the customer to book in delivery, and their delivery truck left the tank sitting on the drive. Now we're trying to arrange moving the 700kg tank to the position required, which is costing the customer almost £1000 extra. If Tuffa had taken the time to understand the customers needs, that a tank could not simply just be placed on his driveway no matter what our customer agreed to, this situation could have been avoided. Sorry, but our first experience with Tuffa tanks is not one we'd like to repeat.read more
