The French Chamber of Commerce of Great Britain and the French Chamber of Commerce in France handed the trophies to the winners of Franco-British businesses rewarding the most dynamic and innovative companies. Thousand Suns, Tuffa UK, Hotel St. Pancras Renaissance and Cinémoi were the winners of 2011!
The recognition is to honour the most dynamic entrepreneurs in small and medium enterprises that trade between France and the United Kingdom, and is the goal of the British Franco Business Awards (Awards Franco-British trade). The 2011 Awards took place on Tuesday evening in Paris at the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée, under the patronage and in presence of Mr. Bernard Emie, Ambassador of France in the UK and Sir Peter Westmacott, Ambassador of Great Britain in France.
Four winners were honoured in four different categories. Tuffa UK triumphed in the category of SMEs / Entrepreneur.
A Director of Tuffa UK said “Tuffa UK is a distributor and manufacturer of tanks for industry, agriculture, transportation and logistics, amongst others. The company employs 40 people and we have been working for two years on the French market where we have established a very strong reputation for our tanks. We have an advantage because our products already meet French standards in environmental matters. We are located in France via distributors and we are very pleased and honoured to receive this award tonight.”
