TUFFA UK has been successful in its application for a grant from the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) through East Staffordshire Borough Council, a new business development programme to help local businesses.
TUFFA UK manufacturers both steel and plastic tanks for all types of liquid storage from it’s factory site in Uttoxeter, supplying various markets including the fuel, chemicals, pharmaceutical, water & agricultural sectors throughout the UK and overseas.
TUFFA UK used the grant to expand its website, and provide additional marketing tools to increase it’s profile in the UK and globally.
Director, Jackie Shenton said “ Ranbir from East Staffordshire Borough Council Regeneration Department was very helpful in assisting with the application process. We were focused in our marketing requirements and having the benefit of the grant enabled us to increase our company profile and resultant sales made it possible for us to support the local economy in the recruitment of an additional member of staff in the fabrication department. It is a long term project so we are hopeful that we will have further success with our expansion programme to obtain more customers which will increase our production and enable us to take on more staff”.
