NEWS: UK Urea Demand “Slow”

“Slow at present, but showing no signs of weakness”

According to comments on the fertiliser markets by Calum Findlay, the Fertiliser Manager from a Company called Gleadell’s, “The global urea market has been dominated by the IPL India purchase tender for the last week, which was generally viewed as neutral for the market with price and volume within expectations.” Interestingly, he comments that the UK demand for urea has remained slow. Tuffa on the other hand have seen steady sales of their AdBlue storage tanks, and it is showing no signs of weakness. Mr. Findlay also comments “there is more demand from the major buying countries of India, Pakistan and South America still to surface pre-Christmas and Europe still has large volumes to purchase at some stage”.
