Fuel Storage for Under-Pitch Heating at Wycombe Wanderers FC

Ebtech Energy Systems has recently completed the installation of a Tuffa 10,000L Plastic Bunded Heating Oil Tank for specialist under-pitch heating system at Wycombe Wanderers Football Club’s state-of-the-art training centre.

The tank supplies fuel to a containerised plant room, designed and manufactured by Ebtech, that powers the under-pitch heating mains. The system will keep the pitch in optimal playing condition during the cold and wet seasons, improving usability for players and staff throughout the year.

The Project

Under-pitch heating is becoming more common in modern training facilities, helping maintain a consistent playing surface regardless of weather. Ebtech was brought in to design a self-contained plant solution that could deliver reliable performance, low maintenance, and ease of installation.

The tank was mounted on a metal frame set into a concrete slab, ensuring a secure and level base. It was then connected directly to the containerised plant room, making fuel transfer efficient and minimising heat loss.
