Tractors on farm field harvesting

Farming Equipment & Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 is now available to apply in England — offering grants of £1,000–£25,000 in three key areas: Productivity, Slurry Management, and Animal Health & Welfare.

Grant Highlights

  • £30 million to invest in Productivity & Slurry equipmentwith an additional £16.7 million on animal health products.
  • Applications are competitive and based on environmental and efficiency gains.
  • The scheme is 29 May to 10 July 2025 — one application per theme per business.

Some key rules include:

  • Only new or ex-display items are eligible (no second-hand or leased items).

  • You cannot apply for the same item twice, even under different schemes, but similar items may be permitted if used differently.

  • Dual-purpose items can only be claimed under one category (e.g. yield monitoring or variable rate controller — not both).

  • Previously funded items may be reapplied for, but justification is required.

  • Funded equipment must be retained and used for at least five years.

Not eligible for funding:

  • Items purchased via part exchange, lease, or that are already owned

  • Second-hand, demo, hire-purchased or home-built items

  • Delivery and installation costs

  • Replacements funded by insurance

  • Items that do not meet the listed specification or are not expected to last five years

  • Items linked to your own business or manufacturer

How This Relates to Tuffa?

Although fuel and AdBlue® tanks are not yet covered, the Slurry Management category has significant liquid storage systems including separators, dribble bars, and injection units. If Tuffas plastic bunded tanks or ancillaries can add to effective slurry running or water control (e.g., in combination with slurry storage), they could be on the list in subsequent rounds.

For example, growers might need big-capacity bunded tanks with fittings or bunded containment — where Tuffa already advises on bunded design and environmental compliance.

If you’re planning to upgrade your on-farm liquid storage — whether for fuel, AdBlue®, water, or other agricultural needs — now is a good time to explore your options. Browse our full tank range and keep an eye on the FETF guidance pages for future funding opportunities!
