As one of our colleagues leaves us, it’s with pleasure that we welcome two new members to our office team at Tuffa HQ in Uttoxeter.
Emma Lister has recently joined us and will be taking on administrative office duties which include supporting the sales and HR team. She takes many of our incoming calls and might be the first voice you hear when you call.
Emma loves her dogs and horse and is co-ordinating our stamp collecting efforts to raise money for Bransby Horses, a Lincolnshire based charity dedicated to the welfare of horses, donkeys and mules.
The stamps are sold on, unsorted by weight, to collectors that pay to add them to their own collection. In 2017 Bransbury Horses raised over £50,000 from the sale of stamps alone, all of which were donated by people and companies like us.
Once again, we are collecting our stamps to be sent to Bransby Horses at the end of the year. If anyone would like to contribute, please save your stamps and send them to Emma at Tuffa UK.
Emma is enjoying her new role and said: “I have been warmly welcomed by the Tuffa UK family and I am getting to know our customers. I am really settling in to my position and looking forward to a bright future at Tuffa UK.”
Farewell and Good Luck Richard
Richard Whitehurst left Tuffa UK for pastures new after a short but productive spell in our marketing department. Richard played an integral role in helping to develop and build our new website and we would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication and wish him every success in his future career.
Richard enjoyed his time at Tuffa and said: “It has been a great 8 months here at Tuffa. The staff are wonderful and it is a really close knit team. The best thing here is you get free scope to try new ideas and are left to develop projects but assistance is always available if you need to chat through any concepts.
“The business is definitely going places and the commitment to recruiting more staff and the increase in leads is really pushing Tuffa forward. I wish everyone all the best for the future.”
Richard’s replacement in our marketing team, Mike Salmon, joined us in December shortly after Emma arrived. Mike had previously run a marketing agency working with clients including Waterford Wedgwood, Drayton Mercedes-Benz, St Modwen, Trentham Gardens, Butters John Bee, Ken Jervis Kia and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Mike is relishing the new challenge and said: “It’s a really exciting time to join Tuffa UK. The company has a great product range with some exciting projects lined up. The team here is committed, professional but really friendly, and already I feel part of the Tuffa UK family. I am enjoying talking to as many customers as I can and look forward to providing additional marketing support from Tuffa UK.”
