Summary of opportunity:
Tuffa UK Ltd is seeking proposals for the supply and integration of a robotic welding solution to support the manufacture of our steel storage tanks, ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 litres. These products form a key part of our portfolio and are currently produced through manual welding within our fabrication workshop in Staffordshire.
The objective of this project is to introduce a robotic welding cell that will improve consistency, efficiency, and throughput, while reducing production bottlenecks and reliance on manual welding labour. The solution must accommodate a variety of tank designs within the stated volume range, with flexibility for both repetitive production and batch changeovers.
We are looking for a turnkey system that includes design, supply, installation, operator training, and ongoing support. Proposals should outline system capabilities, programming methods, fixture design, safety features, and how the equipment can integrate into our existing workshop layout and production processes.

Statement of Requirements:
Approximately 2 tonnes carriage capacity, with head and tail stock 2 axis manipulator. Ideally a non-invasive mounting system like vacuum cups would be preferred but open to suggestions. – material is mostly 2mm and 2.5mm with the thickest being 6mm. weave arc welding required
